Welcome to the Botanical Garden of Tver State University!

Dear guests, friends and colleagues!

We anxiously and tenderly love our little garden. This is a wonderful place. It is impossible to be sad here, and if possible, it is only light and romantic sadness. All the adversities retreat in the garden. Garden is secures from all troubles of life. It's kind, careful and caring. The Garden hears, understands and remembers everything. The Whisper of its leaves comforts and calms, the fragrance of its flowers immerses you into a deep dream. The Garden is honest, has nothing to conceal from you. It is not hiding from life, it just lives!
The miracle of the seasonal change is so marvellous and amazing in the Garden! Fall, winter, spring and summer! It’s like a real life where every age has its own charm. How many colors, how many impressions, how many joys await us here! The miracle of bright carnival colors of autumn leaves in autumn. In winter there is the miracle of soft rustling of snowflakes and frost sparkles on each twig. Then goes the miracle of tender leaves and the touching of first flowers in spring. And in summer there is miracle of fragrant blossom, the flight of butterflies and humming bees. And this is our garden! It’s rather small garden, but that is why it is even dearer and close for us.
It’s a small garden in the huge country. This is Russian garden! It reflects the whole wide soul of boundless Russia. You can see the whole world even in a drop of water, can’t you?!
We are all diverse, and all our gardens are different. But that is wonderful. We have chosen a difficult, but amazingly beautiful and noble profession, a profession that probably is a way of life. Our way of life is to love, study and protect the plants of our planet. We preserve the plants for life in a sustainable world!

Dear guests, friends and colleagues
we wish you luck, happiness, joy and
peace to you, your family and friends!
Peace to your Gardens, our common Gardens of life!
