05.09.2017. The Garden of the Rising Sun. 30 years ago opened a wonderful garden in the Main Botanical Garden in Moscow - Japanese garden! The garden, which was destined to become one of the best "non-Japanese" Japanese gardens of the world, Garden-phenomenon! The talent and cordial love of the master of the gardens of Ken Nakajima breathed life in this Garden, dozens of people built this Garden and, for 30 years, the curator of Elena Golosova remained the guardian of the trembling soul of this Garden. 30 years for the Garden - age or not? Age, because the Garden became a mature ensemble, embodied in itself the design of the master, who foresaw time. And not at all age, because the Gardens, and especially the Japanese gardens are phenomena, are similar to the phenomena of nature living outside of time.
In honor of the jubilee of the birth of the Japanese Garden in the Main Botanical Garden, a two-day Scientific Symposium devoted to Japanese gardens was held as an exposition of botanical gardens. Employees of botanical gardens from Russia and from foreign countries, landscape architects and art historians, connoisseurs and lovers of garden and other arts of this amazing country could enjoy a dip in the world of Japanese gardens for two days. Interesting presentations of thoughts, ideas and stories of Japanese gardens in Russia and abroad, the history of the great masters of Japanese gardens, the presentation of a new book by Elena Golosova with the symbolic title "Gardens of the Rising Sun. Landscape art of Japan. "And, finally, the meeting itself with the Garden - the Japanese garden of the Main Botanical Garden in Moscow. A brilliant master-class of Japanese master-gardens Sigeyoshi Harihara, exhibitions of Ikebana Ikenobo and Sogetsu schools in Moscow. And again, communication is among thoughts and spiritual dreams of a perfect world, which is the Garden.
Happy Birthday - The Garden of the Rising Sun! Spiritual flight to you!
